I'm a pre-med, and I know many pre-meds are worried about how this semester will affect our prospects in applying. But gunning for A's despite having many opportunities at our fingertips to care for our community (starting with supporting universal pass to ensure that those of us who get hit hardest won't lose our future opportunities) is just plain sad. Med schools understand that even something as important as education takes a backseat in times like this (look at how clinical rotations have been suspended and 4th years are graduating early to work on the front lines). We do not need to be getting good grades right now. We do need to be giving a f*** about our peers."
