I personally really like the idea of universal P/F, but at this point, the administration's made their decision and there's no way they're going to force faculty to move to universal P/F after already announcing a decision.
I feel like a better use of advocacy would be to push for a later P/F deadline (some schools are allowing until finals week!), or advocate in your own class for the professor to petition for P/F. "
