1350* - ok not @ the rhode island department of health flat out refusing to test a brown professor who thought he had covid-19 just bc they were "following cdc guidelines" and they weren't "most concerned" abt the country he flew back from (portugal)..... then saying jk, calling him back, and testing him in a PARKING LOT??? not @ this professor teaching a whole entire class afterwards & then cancelling class for the next two weeks bc he felt worse..... nothing against anyone personally but GOD the usa is handling this situation in the most fucked up ways. how can u charge 3000 for a test... how can u deny people who come in saying they think they have covid-19 testing... if we were testing at the rates of some of these other countries we'd have a lot more reported cases lmao. the number is only artificially low is bc we just had to develop our own tests instead of using german tests that WHO adopted and started distributing in, idk, january??? it's literally march and we're still "developing our tests" lmaooooo the absolute audacity of americans, as always
