This is an important reminder about pre-registration for Fall 2020 courses. As mentioned in our email communication on July 28, Brown will implement a two-stage process for pre-registration that will begin with a matching process where all students can submit initial preferences, followed by an add/drop period.
In order to be matched with courses in the initial pre-registration process, please be sure to put at least 5 courses in your Primary Cart in CAB (https://cab.brown.edu). By Friday, August 14, you will be able to see your initial Fall 2020 course registrations in both CAB and Self-Service Banner. Then, you will be able to add/drop courses from August 17 until the end of the virtual Shopping period on September 22. Please note that you will not need to enter an advising PIN to change your course registration during this period.
If you have questions about the new pre-registration process, you can view the recording of last week’s webinar on pre-registration for returning students (https://events.brown.edu/university-events-conference/view/event/event_id/181752). In collaboration with the UCS Academic Affairs Committee, the College has also put together a Pre-Registration FAQ for undergraduate students, which you can access on the Academics page of the Undergraduate FAQ (https://undergrad.healthy.brown.edu/academics).
For more information, please see the original email communication linked below.
