In response to the unique challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, College and Student Support deans are encouraging instructors to apply flexibility in the absence of a formal dean’s note when presented with student requests related to the varied impacts of the crisis (including differing levels of access to remote learning). Students wishing to request flexibility from an instructor can click "Learn More" to access a sample template. This template can also be found, along with additional information, on the College's Virtual Drop-In Hours website (https://www.brown.edu/academics/college/drop-in-hours).
