to no-UP organizers/supporters:
I understand that you guys fought hard and defended the policy that was in your own best interest -- that's my baseline expectation for people. However, the MOST disheartening aspect of all this was the complete lack of an attempt to compromise. You guys heard story after story of how this unprecedented event was going to impact your peers, saw the widespread support, and knew of other universities switching to mandatory S/NC.

Knowing this administration, UP was always going to be a tough sell.. but maybe we could have gotten *something* to help our student body if yall had helped advocate for an alternative solution rather than tearing down UP. You bet Zia and the admin are benefiting off of us school being divided af.

I'm a graduating senior and this is my last experience with the Brown community... smh I am disappointed "
