GAIA's mission is to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases that disproportionately affect the under-served and promote the development of globally relevant, globally accessible vaccines that can be distributed on a not-for-profit basis in the developing world (GAIA stands for the Global Alliance to Immunize Against AIDS). This summer, four Brown undergraduates have been matched with GAIA VF through the Swearer Center. This week, we are fundraising to support programs such as: HIV testing, HPV and cervical cancer prevention, teen peer HIV education, nutrition and peer support for people living with HIV, supplies to protect against COVID-19, and more. Your support has the potential to make a difference, and to sustain (or hopefully expand) these programs. Visit our Facebook page for more info!
