Residential Life FAQ

Dear GBC Community,

I know that this email comes at a time of pain and confusion within our community. The new regulations from SEVP surprised us all during a period where uncertainty was already the norm. I want to take a moment to affirm that you exist, that you are a crucial part of our greater campus community, and that you are important to us.

In this email you will find links to existing resources that are available to provide answers to some of the questions that you may have. The Global Brown FAQ in particular shares guidance on such topics as travel, visas, financial aid, academic continuity and campus support. The Healthy Brown site is a great resource for understanding the Fall 2020 opening plan in more detail, and the Residential Life FAQ is important to review if you have questions about living on or off campus in the Fall. We encourage you to utilize these resources and to reach out when you have further questions.

If you need a safe space to process, to be heard, or to be in community, please know you can always reach out to us here in the GBC.
