In light of the circumstances of this year so far - circumstances that have birthed affliction, instigated trials and yet-again exposed iniquity - we at Cornerstone Magazine want to talk about suffering and hope. How do we rejoice in suffering? What does it mean and what does it look like to have hope in the midst of suffering? Is God’s love present in our suffering?
We invite you to speak about one or all of these questions in a short written piece (or other media, if you so choose) and to share your thoughts with our readers on our blog. Your words have the power to encourage our readers and to point them to Christ - we hope you will share them with us.
If you are interested in writing and submitting a piece on suffering + hope for our blog, please email cornerstone@brown.edu to let us know you are interested or in the process of writing so we know to anticipate your piece! We are accepting submissions on a rolling basis through late August for publication through mid-September.
