Join a Zoom discussion of passionate students and Campus Life staff to envision creative ways that students can work together to build community and social connection in the fall. We will examine questions such as: How can we release that party energy safely during the pandemic? How can we communicate to others who might not be following public health guidelines that we feel unsafe? What skills do people need, or already have, to advocate for our health and safety comfortably to others? And more. Register for the focus group at tinyurl.com/CLSABFocusGroup.

This focus group is part of a pilot for the new Campus Life Student Advisory Board run by the Office of the VP for Campus Life. These pilot sessions are intended to gather input from a broad range of undergraduate student perspectives on key issues affecting the Brown community. Insights and takeaways from these discussions will help inform Campus Life policy, and have the capacity to impact decision making processes around community building. Sessions will be jointly facilitated by student leaders and Campus Life Fellow Akash Altman ‘20.

These focus groups are an introduction to the type of work the new Campus Life Student Advisory Board will perform. The Board can advise the Division of Campus Life on vision, policies, programming, climate, and decisions related to the campus community. Apply to become a member of the Campus Life Student Advisory Board at tinyurl.com/ApplyCLSAB.
