Democracy in Peril: The Inaugural John F. Kennedy Jr. Film Forum. The John F. Kennedy Jr. Initiative for Documentary Film and Social Progress presents its inaugural Film Forum with the theme “Democracy in Peril.” The John F. Kennedy Jr. Film Forum will begin with a screening of three contemporary documentaries: The Edge of Democracy, directed by Petra Costa; The Kingmaker, directed by Lauren Greenfield; and The Great Hack, produced by Geralyn Dreyfous, who also founded the documentary film fund Impact Partners. The forum will culminate in a discussion among the three filmmakers, moderated by Rory Kennedy '91 on March 10, all of whom will be on campus to celebrate the new initiative. All three films will be screened at the Watson Institute during the week of March 2. The schedule will proceed as follows: March 2: The Great Hack, March 3: The Edge of Democracy, and March 6: The Kingmaker.
