Dear Students,
As you may know, every year the Classics Department awards the David Pingree Prize in Ancient Science and Intellectual History to a Brown undergraduate who presents the best paper dealing with the rigorous intellectual traditions of the ancient and medieval world. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing interruptions to the academic year, we must cancel the David Pingree Prize for this academic year.
We will make an announcement during the Fall 2020 semester, detailing the criteria for entry, when the prize is rescheduled.
