The Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA) has launched a virtual conversation series titled "Underlying Conditions," which examines the dynamic and multifaceted impact of COVID-19 on already vulnerable communities of color. In our first episode, Professor Tricia Rose speaks with Dr. Ashish Jha, incoming Dean of the Brown School of Public Health, about the differential impact of COVID-19 on the African American community and how the virus exacerbates existing inequities in our society and healthcare system.
