A discussion with Ambassador Dr. June Soomer and CLACS Interim Director Patsy Lewis.
Established on July 24, 1994 The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) represents the 35 contracting states, countries, and territories of the Greater Caribbean. The organization’s main goal and primary purpose is to consult, establish cooperation and concerted action amongst its member countries. Led by Secretary General Ambassador Dr. June Soomer, the ACS Membership is currently focused on addressing five areas of concern: The preservation and conservation of the Caribbean Sea, sustainable tourism, trade and economic external relations, natural disasters, and transport.
