Ashish K. Jha, MD, will present "The COVID-19 Pandemic and Healthcare in the US and Globally" on Monday, April 13, at 4 p.m. This is the second installment of the virtual Decoding COVID Seminar Series and will be presented by Zoom webinar.

Dr. Ashish K. Jha, an accomplished physician, health policy researcher and global health advocate, is currently the faculty director of the Harvard Global Health Institute and has been appointed the next dean of the Brown University School of Public Health. Dr. Jha co-chaired an international commission that examined the global response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa in 2014 and what could be done to strengthen the approach to pandemic preparedness and response. He has written extensively on the importance of international agencies like the World Health Organization and how they can be made more effective in infectious disease outbreaks like Ebola, Zika and now coronavirus.
