With students completing the semester via remote learning and most employees telecommuting, maintaining a sense of community is more important than ever. Virtual events are an essential way to sustain community -- and the Office of University Communications has implemented a temporary change to Today@Brown guidelines to assist faculty, staff and recognized student groups in promoting virtual events.
Effectively immediately, submitters can promote a specific event once within any three-day period -- rather than the standard once within a seven-day frequency guideline. If your event is promoted in a Monday edition, it can be promoted subsequently in the following Thursday’s edition, the following Sunday’s edition, and so on. This update applies to event listings exclusively -- not announcements -- and will remain in effect until further notice.
Faculty, staff and recognized student groups can submit listings at https://today.brown.edu.
